Windyhill is a 3 bedroom, architect designed holiday cottage located on the far north west coast of Scotland approx. 25 miles from Ullapool and 4 miles from Achiltibuie.
The property is set in its own hillside plot and offers stunning and uninterrupted views across the Summer Isles from the large picture window in the lounge. The bedrooms, bathrooms and utility room are all located on the ground floor with the open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen on the first floor to make the most of the wonderful setting and views.
This is a remote and beautiful area offering peace and tranquility ... a real escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Altandhu is a small village with a smokehouse and a hotel where you can get food. There is a general store in nearby Achiltibuie which will deliver groceries to the cottage and is also the nearest place to get petrol. Also in Achiltibuie is the famous Summer Isles hotel, restauarant and hydroponicum.
Great location for those who enjoy walking, fishing, bird wathching or simply those who just want to get away from it all...!
