Westhaven is a luxury self catering holiday property located on the outskirts of the town of Crieff in the heart of Perthshire. Recently refurbished by its owners, Westhaven offers exceptional holiday accommodation with stunning views towards the Strathearn Hills. This self catering holiday let is ideally suited to families or small groups wishing to explore this beautiful area.
Accommodation is on one level and comprises lounge with french doors to external balcony, fully equipped dining kitchen with french doors, playroom with bed settee, bathroom with bath and power shower, master bedroom with french doors, twin bedroom, single bedroom, cloakroom and separate WC. There is also a secluded lawned garden along with garden furniture, patio heater and BBQ facilities and off street parking.
The area has plenty to offer for those seeking to enjoy the outdoors including golf at the famous Gleneagles course and rambling across the highlands. The River Earn runs a few hundred yards below the property for which fishing permits can be attained from the local post office in the town centre.
Crieff is the main town of the Strathearn Valley and lies on the southern edge of the Scottish Highlands. It has been a popular holiday resort since Victorian times and is the second largest town in Perthshire. There are many walks in and around the area as well as breathtaking scenery to be viewed around Loch Tay and Loch Earn.
For the whisky drinkers a visit to Crieff would not be complete without a visit to Glenturret Distillery, the oldest whisky distillery in Scotland, where The Famous Grouse is made. This 5 star tourist attraction is located on the road between Crieff and Comrie, only 10 minutes by car.
