Noddsdale House is a B listed Country House in the Arts and Crafts style situated in Brisbane Glen just outside Largs on the Firth of Clyde with stunning views. The East Wing has 1 bedroom and sleeps up to 4. The Bell Loft has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 + 1. Both are full of character and have everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Overview:
Set in mature grounds with trees and shrubs, Noddsdale is a wonderful place to stay. There is a tennis court in the garden and if you walk up the hill behind the house you will be rewarded with magnificent views in good weather! Accommodation is in either the East Wing or the new Bell Loft.
The East Wing comprises; hall, sitting room, dining kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom can be set up as a double or twin and there is also a double sofabed in the lounge and extra single bed in the hall if required. The bathroom has bath, sink and WC.
The Bell Loft is new for 2009 and promises to offer luxury accommodation. It comprises; open plan living room / well equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedrooms can be set up as double or twin and there is an additional sofabed in the lounge. Bathrooms have both bath and shower (one with separate shower cubicle and one with shower over bath).
The islands of Arran, Bute and Cumbrae are all close by and can be visited by day. Ferries run regularly. For the keen golfer there are 2 golf courses in Largs and many more in Ayrshire.
Largs has some great shops and places to eat. Kelburn Country Park is at the south end of the town and there is a busy marina there too. Mount Stuart House and gardens on Bute is open during the summer months and is fascinating. There are many interesting places to visit during your stay. Come and see for yourself! And, if all you would like to do is to rest and stop awhile, then Noddsdale offers the peace and quiet for that too. It is up to you!
