Millhouse Garden Apartment is a luxury self contained holiday apartment situated in the popular holiday town of Crieff in Perthshire. Having recently been refurbished to a high standard, the accommodation offers a bright and comfortable base from which to explore this stunning area.
Accommodation is on one level and comprises lounge with french doors to private garden, 2 x double bedroom, fully equipped dining kitchen, and bathroom with shower over bath. There is parking for up to 4 cars as well as safe storage for outdoor activity equipment such as bikes.
Millhouse Self Catering Apartment is located close to Crieff Visitors Centre which includes a restaurant, Highland Drovers exhibition, Buchan Thistle Pottery visitor gallery, garden centre and gift shop as well as an extensive childrens play area. Crieff town centre is only 5 - 10 minutes walk away with local shops, post office and supermarket.
The River Earn runs behind the property for which fishing permits can be attained from the local post office in the town centre.
Crieff, the main town of the Strathearn Valley, lies on the southern edge of the Scottish Highlands. It has been a popular holiday resort since Victorian times and is the second largest town in Perthshire. There are many walks in and around the area as well as breathtaking scenery to be viewed around Loch Tay and Loch Earn.
For the whisky drinkers a visit to Crieff would not be complete without a visit to Glenturret Distillery, the oldest whisky distillery in Scotland, where The Famous Grouse is made. This 5 star tourist attraction is located on the road between Crieff and Comrie, only 10 minutes by car.
