Millheugh House is a listed 3-storey Georgian Town House full of period features including original fire places and sweeping staircase. The house is equipped to sleep 7 people comfortably. It is situated in the Burgh of Portsoy, a conservation area steeped in history and the traditions of the fishing industry with its 17th Century harbour. Portsoy is an ideal base for visiting the various tourist attractions along the coast of alternatively for just relaxing with wonderful views over the Moray Firth.

Millheugh House is a 3-storey listed Georgian Town House located on a quiet street just a short walk away from the traditional harbours of Portsoy. The house is full of period features and has 3 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, 2 bathrooms - 1 of which is equipped with a shower. There is a well equipped modern kitchen with informal dining area, utility room, formal dining room and a reception room with Television, freeview (free to air digital television channels), DVD player and games console. There is also a rear garden area with garden seating, ideal for relaxing or enjoying a family BBQ.
This delightful house is situated in a conservation area, in the Burgh of Portsoy which lies midway between Cullen (of Cullen Skink fame) and Banff. It is a two minute walk to the 17th Century harbour with wonderful sea views. Portsoy was a fishing village associated with the herring trade until around the 19th Century. What you find today is an attractive uphill town centre with fascinating streets winding down to the harbour.
Portsoy is an ideal base for visiting tourist attractions such as the 'Castle Trail' and the 'Whisky Trail'. There are numerous golf courses and wonderful sandy beaches all within an hours drive. In the surrounding towns of Banff and Cullen, keen golf lovers can try our renowned golf courses; both Duff House Royal Golf Course and Cullen Golf Course are known nationally and are a joy to walk around. Within a 17 mile radius of Portsoy, there is around 8 golf courses to try.
Alternatively, every summer Portsoy hosts the famous Traditional Small Boats Festival and you could spend time in Portsoy enjoying Loch Soy on a pedalo with a children's play area, shops and cafes close at hand.
The Moray Firth which laps the Portsoy coast is home to many seabirds, seals and dolphins. Trips are available locally to enable you to catch sight of them. And for keen walkers there are a range of countryside and coastal walks to suit all ages. Portsoy also has a famous natural resource, 'Portsoy Marble' which is found in the vacinity of Portsoy and can be purchased locally.
