Mall House offers a self-catering holiday apartment within a Georgian house and an acre of peaceful gardens. It is located close to the town centre, sandy beaches, and golf courses. This is family friendly accommodation next to Montrose swimming pool and 5 minutes from the train station. Sleeps up to 5 guests.
Overview:
Set within an acre of mature grounds, the garden apartment of this Georgian house offers an excellent base for family holidays, fishing, walking, golfing or bird watching.
Accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen, wet room (shower) and separate W.C. The master bedroom has a king-sized sleigh bed, flat screen TV, and ensuite with a power shower and a hotel hairdryer. The twin room has new beds and drapes. There is also a single bedroom and an inflatable if required. A summer house has been installed in the walled garden for guests to enjoy.
The County of Angus has an abundance of interesting features to suit the discerning holiday maker of all ages. The long golden sandy beach is a short walk away, offering excellent facilities for children.The water has blue flag status. Montrose has 30 golf courses within 30 minutes drive, including two courses within 5 minutes walk. Salmon and trout fishing are nearby on the North and South Esk rivers. A days fishing can start from £15. Pack lunches can be provided.
There is a Wildlife Centre 1 mile from the town from which to view a large
variety of seasonal birds which come to the Montrose Basin Reserve.The Grampian
Hills and Angus Glens are 20 minutes drive and the County boasts a large
number of historic castles and National Trust properties.
The railway station is 5 minutes away and the shops and restaurants are
close by.
The owners are on site to help guests with any requests. The property is graded 3 star by Visit Scotland.
