Kiltaraglen Cottages on the Isle of Skye are set in an acre of gardens providing a quiet and private location in the town of Portree. The 3 cottages are cosy and comfortable and are a great base for exploring Skye. Each cottage sleeps 2 - 4 guests.
Overview:
Kiltaraglen Cottages provide an excellent base for a self-catering holiday in Portree, the main town on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Situated on the A855 just half a mile from the village square, all the local amenities are just a ten minute walk from Kiltaraglen.
There are three cottages available for rental, individually furnished and all offering something slightly different. The properties provide comfortable, cosy and clean accommodation. Full central heating is included in the cost of hire. There is ample off road parking available. The Cuillin Hills are visible all year round from the garden area to the side of the house, which is open and easily accessible by our visitors.
The Annex provides accommodation for up to two people in a compact two storey semi detached house. A large bedroom upstairs with bath and dressing area. A full shower room and toilet are on the ground floor, along with the open plan lounge and dining kitchen. There are good views over the front garden.
The Cottage sleeps up to four in two bedrooms, one double and one twin. There is a double shower in the bathroom, open plan lounge and dining kitchen. The cottage is a bungalow and enjoys garden views.
The Garden Wing is the most spacious of the three properties, providing accommodation for up to two. The double bedroom has an en-suite Jacuzzi bathroom upstairs, with a full shower room on the ground floor. There is an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen as well as a conservatory and private patio.

Portree is the Island's main centre and an excellent base for a holiday. There are magnificent views of the Cuillin mountains, popular with climbers. Portree has all the usual food shops including an excellent bakery, whole food shop and two supermarkets. There are three banks and a post office, hospital, six churches, a swimming pool, cinema and squash court. Most water sports are available and there are two sporting 9-hole golf courses, fantastic wildlife watching boat trips, pony trekking and hill walking to name but a few.
