Amazing location, was perfect for our group of 4. We were arriving late so the self check in meant we didn't have to rush. Right by the grass market so loads of food and drink options but the kitchen was great to have as well.

Very central flat that is comfortable for 2 or 4 people. Walking distance to all sites and close to nice bars and restaurants.

We had clear instructions of how to get to the apartment and it's fantastically located for the castle and old town. The apartment itself was clean and had everything you needed. Would recommend.

Very spacious, nice and clean apartment with everything we needed. We didn´t have to meet anyone, instructions how to access the apartment were very clear and there weren´t any problems with finding it even though we arrived during the night. It would be luxury stay for two people (there is whole bedroom with doublebed ), but it was very comfortable even though we were in three (the third person sleeps on folding bed in the living room). I would recommend this accomodation to anyone - it was very close to the Edinburgh castle and Grassmarket and it definitley has some of scottish atmosphere. :)

This was such a great, cozy little apartment. Absolutely perfect location! Close to some really cool bars and pubs, right underneath Edinburgh Castle and a short walk to the Royal Mile.

I had a great time in Edinburgh and this accommodation was the icing on the cake. Very comfortable space and brilliant location within walking distance of most popular attractions.

The flat was in a great location especially as we could walk to the Edinburgh Tattoo and plenty of sites. The hop on hop off bus stop was very close. Be aware two flights of stairs and an older unit but clean and all facilities in it you will need. Overall I highly recommend it for your stay in Edinburgh.

"The apartment is wonderfully located, clean and with all comforts and amenities."
It was easy to do self check-in also thanks to the instructions provided prior to our arrival.

just wanted to say that we had a lovely stay in edinburgh!
The flat was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay
It was great to have a king size bed, which was very comfortable too
We did have a problem with the key one night, as we couldn't get it to turn in the lock. However, we were able to contact someone despite it being late. We eventually managed to get in and someone came out the next day to look at it. We had no further problems with the lock
So thank you for the prompt response
We would definitely like to stay again, and are likely to book for May again next year
Thank you again for a superb stay

“Very convenient for Grassmarket area and getting around town"
We stayed at this cottage during a recent UK trip as we wanted a central location that is a change from a hotel. This cottage fit the bill. It is advertised as sleeping four people, but I think it would be a bit on the small side, as only one bedroom and living area possibly doubles as second sleeping quarters, which would leave no room to move. The cottage suited our purpose, it is walking distance to popular Grassmarket with lots of pubs. There is a Sainsbury's a block away for any groceries you may need. The apartment can do with a thorough cleaning, however, as we noticed some possible black mould in the bathroom and as we tried storing our suitcases we were met with a deluge of dust. Mattress needs to be replaced, we ended up cuddling quite close in the centre as you fold into the middle. :-) Ease of access to property - keys and alarm code provided per email, so you can arrive at your leisure. We asked for and were granted a late check out. Staff from TS Properties were very friendly and helpful. Just a word of caution, it is an uphill walk to the castle, so for the less mobile, I would recommend staying on the Royal Mile. However, buses do depart from less than 2 minutes walk away from the apartment. Great to be able to just wash our clothes and relax a bit between hotel stays. Would recommend.

This apartment was centrally located and communication was great with the owners. The apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed.

"Great location for exploring"
Early access (12 noon) made it so easy to get into the apartment after a long flight. The location was PERFECT. Double decker tour bus stop is literally right outside the apartment gates. Grassmarket is a wonderful area, and easy to walk up to the castle.

"The location was absolutely wonderful"
Tara was very helpful before and during our stay. She provided specific instructions that made gaining entry to the apartment a breeze! The apartment itself was cozy and centrally located; it was a 2 minute walk to Grassmarket, and about 10 to the castle. We had a great time there, and would stay again our next time in Edinburgh!

“Great location, comfortable apartment”
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Castle Rock. It was easy to find and in a great location in Grassmarket with a lot of fun restaurants, pubs and shops. Very quiet, given the location, so that was good too. Apartment was clean, comfortable and safe - all with a view of the castle!

"Great place in an amazing location"
My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't fault the place one bit. Everything we needed was there and the place was very clean and tidy. The location is ideal as it's within walking distance of pretty much everything! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Edinburgh. :)

“The perfect apartment for a longer stay!”
Everything´s been really great! The apartment is very well located (200m to grassmarket) and very quiet at the same time! You´ll find a really good opportunity to have a breakfast or diner opposite the apartment complex! A supermarket´s just a 3min walk up the street! It´s very well equipped as well! You´ll find everything you need, especially for a longer stay! The contact before, in between and afterwards was very kind and helpful!! Don´t hesitate and start booking your perfect stay!

“This place is well equipped in an excellent location.”
This flat is a great deal for the price. It is not luxurious but it has everything you could possibly need and more (games, laundry, dishes etc.) in one of the best locations in Edinburgh. The castle views were stunning and there is a great cafe and grocery store across the street. Will stay here again when I return to Edinburgh

“Five stars on all counts!”
This is an incredibly cute, well appointed and centrally located apartment that we had a whale of a time staying at for nearly a week in July 2013. Just steps from the grassmarket, a handy sainsbury's near by and a lovely view of the castle from the courtyard to boot! The whole apartment was clean, would great quality furnishings, cutlery etcetera and thoughtful DVDs and books. Would definitely go back, and recommend to friends.
