The Doocot is a lovely one bedroom holiday apartment near Cellardyke harbour in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife. Available all year round the accommodation has been given a four star rating by Visit Scotland in 2007. Sleeps up to 4.
Overview:
The Doocot is a first floor flat in Dove Street, Cellardyke which is a quiet cul de sac; the front door is however at ground level at the rear. Sitting room, large double bedroom with sea view, bathroom, dining kitchen and utility room all tastefully fitted with modern equipment and furniture make up the accommodation inside. The bedroom can be set up as twin or double and the sofa bed in the sitting room makes into a standard size double bed.
Outside there is a shared courtyard with garden furniture and a terraced garden up steep steps. From the top level the view takes in the May Island and Bass Rock.
It is an ideal location from which to enjoy the activities and pastimes of the area. Walking, golf, fishing, beach and water sports are but a few and guests are provided with a comprehensive folder of things to do and see.
