219 High Street is located in a five storey traditional Edinburgh tenement building among the famous and spectacular buildings of the Royal Mile, in the heart of Edinburgh's elegant and historic Old Town with a spectacular view over the city of Edinburgh.
Architect designed, 219 High Street is a stylish self catering property which has recently been completely refurbished and is located on the 4th floor. It retains many original features.
Entrance to the apartment is from the Royal Mile - a wonderful location in the heart of the city. The fringe festival is literally on the doorstep and it is exactly half way up (or down!) the Royal Mile, with Edinburgh Castle at one end and Holyrood Palace at the other. This is a lively location with lots of bars, museums, restaurants and cafes to choose from - including Plaisir du Chocolat a few doors away which is heaven for chocolate lovers!
Accommodation comprises: spacious bathroom with bath, power shower, WC and hand basin, hallway with laundry cupboard, fully fitted dining kitchen with original range, exceptionally large drawing room with windows to 3 sides , concealled double bed (in the panelling in the wall and drops down with the flick of a switch) and a large sofa bed which can provide extra sleeping accommodation for 2.
